Gearing Up For the Bees!

Another exciting adventure is on the horizon for us at the farm... Springtime = New honey bees! Yep, we have ordered five more "hives" of honey bees... Three packages of them are scheduled for pick up on Friday of this week and the other two the week of April 7th. So Hubby has ordered all the parts and pieces for the additional boxes and frames we need to build new permanent homes for all of our newest thousands of members of the farm.

Someone's been hard at work building!

And painting them too...

And we had a stencil made to add our name to them. Now we just have to wait for the bees!
