First one out of the patch. Holy cow at the size of these things!
The first five wound up being so big that I could barely fit them into the loader bucket on the tractor and then I had to slowly creep it back to the barn so they would not spill out. Next, we washed them, weighed them and measured them for the farm logs.
The biggest one of the five weighed 48.4 lbs!
The nights stats... Wrestling these five was a workout!! Could not wait for Day 2!
