So some friends of ours invited us to pick blueberries from their blueberry bushes while they were out of town... so Saturday morning we made our way to their backyard and proceeded to pick... and pick and pick.
We started picking low...
Hubby figured out a way to rig the picking baskets on our belts so we could utilize both hands for picking...

And of course music always helps. Two people, four hands plus headphones... for 2.5 hours equals...
A Ton of Blueberries!!
And a ton of blueberries equals 15 quarts put up in the freezer plus a few extras to share and eat ourselves...
Whew. I am just tired thinking about it.
