House Building For the Past 30 Days!

Today we celebrate our 200th post on this blog! HIP HIP HOORAY!!

Sorry for the LONG delay since our last house building post... But, it is busiest farm season of the year: Summer!

Installed the foam insulation in all the walls and ceilings... VERY energy efficient!

Drywall installation starts...

Rowdy-Girl really REALLY loves the porch!

Prime coat of paint is on!

Getting geared up to install wood ceilings in Great Room, Mud Room, Office and Dining Room!

Great Room ceilings took several days...

But, eventually we finished it!

Started fine grading around the house and cutting in driveways.

Cutting driveway out of back of Porte Cochere.

Started staining porch ceilings!

Hubby installing joist seats on Great Room upper joist ends... this was one of the items the county inspectors had on their "must do" list in order to pass their framing inspection.
